This makes it an ideal location to base a wedding party if you are using the facilities of Friars Court for your wedding reception.
If you are holding your wedding celebration at Friars Court then we can offer you the following:
On the eve of your wedding enjoy a private dinner, we call this “The Last Supper” (£30.00 per person) before the big day, then retire to bed. Next morning The Plough can then used as a convenient base for your wedding day.
Then return to The Plough after the reception.
The following morning end with a champagne brunch
with friends and family, one can invite guests who have found other accommodation to join the party for brunch at a cost of extra guests £17.50 per person.
Free Honeymoon Suite
We will offer the bride and groom our Honeymoon Suite free of charge for the wedding night if a minimum of six rooms are reserved for a two night stay including a private dinner on the evening prior to the wedding day.

Two Night Stay
Standard Double - £175.00 per room, per night
Superior Double Room - £195.00 per room, per night
Four Poster Double Room – £210.00 per room, per night
Honeymoon Suite - £240.00 per room, per night
These prices include a two night stay any Friday/Saturday or Sunday.
A private dinner on the eve of the wedding and a Champagne brunch the morning after the wedding.

We also have two rooms linked by a small landing where children could occupy the double room and parents in the neighbouring double.
We have two twin rooms and two rooms that can take an extra bed at a cost of £20 per bed, per night (Cots Free of Charge).
For single occupancy deduct £15.00 per room.
Dogs £5.00 per night.
Early check in’s
We will do our best to accommodate early check in’s please check with reception. We can also provide a light lunch before the wedding if required (pre ordered)
A late bar can be arranged at an extra cost of £50.00, after 12 midnight.
A Champagne Brunch is available for residents, for non-residents the cost is £17.50 per person.
If you are staying the night before your wedding and are not staying the night of the wedding but require your room after 11am there will be a £30.00 fee. The check out can be no later than 3pm
We would require a non-refundable £41.00 deposit for each night.
We will reserve the right to charge the full out standing balance to a credit card if we can not resell the room if the cancellation is within 14 days of the arrival date.
